How we use your information
Draft notice. Final wording, lawful basis and retention periods are to be confirmed by the platform owner.
If you’re a tutor
- Our operations team uses your profile, CV and test results to verify you and to match you with families and schools.
- Families and schools never browse tutors. We share a tutor’s details with them only when we recommend that tutor.
- Your private address line is visible only to you.
- Your bank account number is stored encrypted and only our finance team can see it, to pay you.
- You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time.
If you’re asking for a tutor
- Our operations team uses your request to find suitable tutors.
- Tutors we invite see what’s needed: subjects, level, age or school year, town, start date and when lessons should happen. They never see your name, contact details, area or what you write under “Anything else we should know”. For school requests, they also see the school’s name.
- We share a tutor’s contact details with you once the tutor agrees and the first month is paid (for schools, while your term fee is paid).
- Payments are handled by Paystack. We never see or store your card details.
- You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time.
